With 25 years of financial planning expertise, Cindy David, CFP, CLU, FEA, TEP* is a Senior Estate Planning advisor at Raymond James Financial Planning Ltd. In the fall of 2009, David co-authored the timely book encapsulating the deepest economic downturn the globe has seen in decades: Financial First Aid for Canadian Investors: Stop the Bleeding, Start the Healing and Get Your Portfolio on the Road to Recovery. The book holds the distinction of being one of the Top 5 financial books of 2009, according to Canada’s MoneySense magazine. She has also penned a number of financial pieces for a variety of respected publications.
Cindy David is a well-known expert in the Canadian insurance industry. A commemorative “Award of Excellence” was presented to her in 2008 by Canada’s largest financial institution, Manulife Financial, for being one of the top three estate planners across the country. According to Manulife, Cindy is the youngest individual to have achieved this distinction. Cindy was also part of a special report called Women of Influence in Canada’s Life Insurance Industry, featured in the August 2014 issue of The Insurance and Investment Journal. She also contributed to the January 2016, 2017 & 2018 editions of Business in Vancouver’s Retirement Ready magazine. Cindy was more recently featured in the June 2018 & July/August 2018 editions of BC Business.
She works with many business owners in BC and retired or retiring clients. Cindy provides her tax-effective solutions and expertise and tailors customized, personal financial planning services to meet the life goals of each client. An accomplished speaker, she is often asked to be a member of industry panel discussions including presenting at the Conference for Advanced Life Underwriters AGM in Ottawa in May 2014 and she was on the only Canadian speaker on the mainstage at the Raymond James Ltd. North American Women’s Symposium in September 2015, where she spoke about work life balance.

Heather Roche is an Estate Planning Advisor who collaborates with Financial Advisors mainly in the Ottawa & Toronto regions to provide personalized solutions to clients concerning their financial, tax, estate and retirement planning needs.
Heather brings over 10 years of experience in the financial planning and insurance business and has a proven track record as an established Estate Planner with a comprehensive approach to Estate Planning and Insurance. Heather has been part of the Raymond James Financial Planning Estate Planning Advisory team for over five years and continues to support in the Toronto and Montreal branches. Her focus is on developing financial plans for clients that incorporate insurance-based products and strategies, supporting financial advisors and interacting with clients.
Heather is a graduate of Ryerson University holding a Bachelor of Commerce. She is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), and life insurance licensee in Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta & Nova Scotia.

As the Executive Director of the Raymond James Canada Foundation, Janine Davies directs the workplace giving and client philanthropy programs nationally for Raymond James Ltd, Canada’s largest independent brokerage firm. Under Janine’s leadership, the Foundation serves as a catalyst to mobilize the cumulative resources of Raymond James at both corporate and grassroots levels to make a meaningful impact in communities across the country.
Janine works directly with RJL advisors and their clients to develop personalized strategic giving plans that align with both their philanthropic and financial goals. Janine employs a donor-centric, consultative approach to philanthropy, working with accountants, lawyers, and estate planning advisors to craft customized solutions for each client.
In addition to her 25 years of experience in banking and finance, Janine is strongly committed to her community and a firm believer in the importance of stepping up as a leader in the public realm. She presently sits as special advisor to the board of Drug Free Kids Canada, and an active member of both Canadian Association of Gift Planners (CAGP) and on the Executive of the Estate Planning Council of Vancouver (EPCV).
